Smart Daily Buys use that day's size at that close: 3x, 1x, 1x, 0.5x, or 0x. On a 0x day the full daily budget goes into the Skipped-Buy Reserve, and on a 0.5x day half of it does. The first Very Cool day spends that reserve in 90 equal daily buys. The reserve never sells Bitcoin. Recurring daily buys are fee-free. Reserve buys pay 0.5%.

The starting Bitcoin splits into a Hold Stack, which is never sold, and a Trading Stack. This page starts at Hold 0% / Trading 100%, so the starting Bitcoin is the Trading Stack and the published result stays the same. A suggested start elsewhere on the site is Hold 70% / Trading 30%. The Trading Stack sells in three steps (a third, then half of what's left, then the rest) and is fully out at the top. It buys back in 90 equal daily slices, or all at once if price rises 25%. Each sell and buy-back pays 0.5%. New daily buys are kept and are not sold.

Plain holding keeps the starting Bitcoin. Plain DCA buys the same daily amount every day. The percentage, and the dollar line under it, compare Bitcoin per dollar, because the cash spent can differ. The chart lines are coins.
